2/5/08 pt 2

Visual perception contributes far too strongly to our initial impressions on new people. Daily you walk around and are judged based soley on your face, your glasses, your shoes - hats - gloves - coat - pants - EVERY asthetic aspect of you. What you've done for yourself, your family, or other people is completely overshadowed by your physical appearance, even after the initial meeting and getting to know a person. If you are very attractive you are judged far less harshly then your typical joe. I feel degrated, disgusting, judgemental. This modern american life is wearing me down.
